"Definitely recommended place to Savour it's 猪杂汤。A bowl of piping hot appetising soup cost Rm7 and full of ingredients. Taste good. The noodles is so fragrant too. Must try in Batu Pahat."

"Soon Ji is a popular restaurant in Batu Pahat. They offer a slightly sour cloudy soup that I think used sour plum. You can have it with sliced pork, ground pork or fish or a combination of all 3. Then you can have this with rice or noodles that are topped with crispy pork. I was told this is teochew style cuisine. I enjoyed my food here."

"Amazing food that is a must try. Only 1 issues to take note, there WILL BE A CHARGES for sitting in aircon room. Very interesting. Can see in the receipt chinese wording. Must add the fish maw, not the usual fried type"

"The dried noodles is sooooo fragrant, you can eat it on its own. Soup Iain souring side due to tomatoes, pickled mustard and sour plum. Generous ingredients (fm innards, sliced to minced meat, fish too). Deep fried chicken JS flavorful. Place is very clean too."

"Second time return because can't resist the taste of the soup. Soup tasted sour, very nice. Once in your mouth, you feel refresh and freshen up. Soup contains water plum, the salty vegi. Good combination teo chew style. Not to mention they are generous with the ingredients. Both fish and pork meat balls are fresh and tasty. Almost forgot about the chili. Super nice and good combination with the food. Only downside is need to pay $0.50 per person for aircond. Overall the meal is moderate price. Looking forward to the next meal again."

"I arrived at the shop around 11am and was pleased to find that the crowds had not yet arrived. After locating a seat, I placed my order at the counter. It's worth noting that there was a surcharge of RM0.50 per person for seating in the air-conditioned room. We ordered several dishes, including the signature pig organ soup with added intestine and stomach. The minced meat and sliced meat soup had just the right amount of sourness, and the pork was both fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this dish. The sliced fish soup was the most sour of the dishes, but the fish was also fresh and flavorful. On the other hand, the fish head bee hoon soup was made with a pickle-based broth and lacked meat. It's safe to say that this dish could be skipped. As for the yam rice, it was decent but lacked the fragrant yam aroma that I was hoping for. The taste was average, so it could be skipped as well. On the other hand, the dried mee sua was fantastic thanks to the delicious lard used. I noticed that many customers were also ordering the dried mee, which looked a bit like instant noodles. I plan to try it during my next visit. Overall, the service was pleasant, though I do hope that the cashier can be a bit more patient with non-locals who want to ask for more details about the dishes and place specific orders."

"Recommended by my local friend, once enter to the shop, you can order straight away from the cashier side and pick your table afterwards For A1: Signature mixed pork soup (containing mixed meat balls, pork slice, liver and fish fillet) - RM7. This is only soup but I got add on pig stomach (RM3), and also small dry noodles (RM2.30). The portion of the ingredients in the soup is great, taste of the soup is about 70-80% preserved salted vegetable and remaining is the porky essence which suites my flavor profile. Ingredients are all fresh and delicious. While for B1: Fresh fish fillets mee suah soup (RM8), the soup base is light and the fish fillet is fresh with adequate amount. Lastly for the sour plum (RM3), it is pre-packed drink and taste normal only. I would give another compliment for their chili sauce (self service) which taste sour and spicy which further elevate the dining experience. Recommended for sure!"
